Bat Care & Warranty

Once purchased, your bat will need to be gradually and suitably knocked in and we request all of our bats to undergo a minimum 4-6 hours by hand mallet or an automated bat knocking in service which are available across the UK from numerous providers. Once knocked in, you can also apply a thin coat of bat oil to the face, edges and toe but avoid oiling the splice area of the bat and any stickers.

All products are available for a full refund if returned unused within 14 days from receiving goods with full proof of purchase.

Our cricket bats are made from English Willow and we offer a 12 month warranty on all of our cricket bats. However, it is impossible to say exactly what the life expectancy of a cricket bat will be due to the fact that they naturally deteriorate with use and, even with perfect preparation, can’t always avoid the effects of poor quality balls, mistimed shots, yorkers and general wear and tear.

The above warranty will only cover repairs that are required as a result of reasonable use where there is a clear material flaw. Bats with damage to the toe will not be covered under any warranty whatsoever as this is the weakest point of a cricket bat and is not built for contact at this point. Bats where the stickers have been removed will also not be covered under warranty, a proof of the use of a knocking in service may also be requested.

In the event that a bat is under warranty, the options would be for a repair, replacement or part-replacement (reduced price on a new cricket bat). Please also note that the postage + packing charges still apply when going through warranty.
